We are the RAMS (Radio Aero Modelers of Seattle)
the longest standing RC model aviation club in washington state. Established in the 1950’s, we have called many fields throughout the greater seattle metro area our home. Our current field is at 3430 Academy Dr SE, Auburn, WA 98092 !
As avid aviation enthusiasts, we take pride in our organization. While our goal is limitless fun, we take safety seriously. We are a chartered club with the AMa (academy of model aeronautics) and all our members are active AMA registered card holders.
We SERVE and welcome all AGEs and BACKGROUNDS, FROM YOUTH TO SENIORS, EDUCATORS, ENGINEERS, DOCTORS, LABORERS, MECHANICS, STUDENTS. We FLY MODEL AIRCRAFT OF ALL TYPES RANGING FROM A FEW OUNCES IN WEIGHT UP TO 40+ POUNDS WITH WINGSPANS MORE THAN 12 FEET. We welcome all power plant types from electric, glow, or gas to free flight. WE ALSO FLY HELICOPTERS AND MULTI-BLADE VEHICLES OF VARIOUS SIZES AND SHAPES. Come wood, foam, or fiber, we welcome all!
We offer a wide range of training ranging from BEGINNER to advanced. Whether you’re just starting, expanding your skills, or challenging yourself with 3d flight, you’ll find what you need to take it to the next level at the rams. with some of the most skilled pilots in the nation, you’re sure to hone in your skills and have a great time!
